Graduation ceremony of the Department of Psychology, Graduate School of Letters, Arts and Scicnes for the 2024 Academic Year was held.
2025年3月25日に、早稲田大学大学院文学研究科心理学コースの2024年度学位授与式が行われました。今年度から大学院だけでなく、文学部の心理学コースと大学院文学研究科の合同での開催になりました。私は、文学部の学部科目は限られたものしか担当していないのですが、この日は文学部の卒業生の方とも対面することができました。
何かの役に立てるための「応用知」は、社会に出てからも学ぶ機会が多くあると思うが、大学で学問的探究をすることで得られる「純粋知」も、長い目で見ると人生を豊かにするものであり、大切にしてほしい。また、卒業写真に笑顔で写っているひとはその後の人生もうまくいっているといった心理学の研究もあるので、ぜひ今日は「人生最高の笑顔」で過ごしてほしい。各教員からの挨拶では、私からはざっとこのようなお話をしました。
宮田研究室からは、修士課程2年生の3名が無事に修士論文を書き上げ、修士の学位を取得されました。今後はそれぞれの道に進まれることになりますが、ご健勝をお祈りしています。
