We held mindfulness-based icebreading sessions at our undergraduate seminar.
2週目のゼミでは、近年は毎年恒例で行っている。アイスブレイキングの親睦ワークを行いました。いずれもマインドフルネスと関連づけたワークで、食べる瞑想(マインドフル・イーティング)とマインドフル・リスニング(マインドフルな傾聴)です。
食べる瞑想は、レーズンやお菓子の小片などを食べる体験を受容的に観察するものです。マインドフル・リスニングは、2名または3名組を作って、相手の話や2人が話している様子を評価、判断せずに傾聴します。いずれも一定のトレーニングを必要とするワークではありますが、経験上もアイスブレイキングとしてよく機能するようで、ワークをした後では学生相互の会話が弾みやすくなっているようです。
今年は、これまでとは異なる試みとして、教員が終始セッションをガイドするのではなく、ゼミ生の代表の人にセッションをリードしてもらう形にしました。これは中々効果的だったようで、「授業感」が薄れて自分たちでワークを楽しめる雰囲気が出来たようです。
今後も、このような学生主体のスタイルでの活動の割合を増やせるとよいかもしれません。
