We held a term-end dinner party at the graduate laboratory.

As the spring semester now over, we held end-of-semester gathering. As the number of participants are growing fore years, we are also discussing many new ideas, including organizing journal article discussions, archiving research materials, and developing systems for managing and sharing resources through platforms like Waseda Slack.


At the same time, participants have begun to propose a variety of ideas on their own initiative. 

The group’s activities are becoming increasingly lively, which I believe is a very positive development.


As for me, however, I had been so preoccupied with paper submission deadlines and various university responsibilities that the gathering had completely slipped my mind, and I even arrived late today. Although we are now in the midst of the summer heat, I hope that everyone will continue working steadily toward their respective goals during the summer break—and that we will all make it through the season safely and successfully.
