Profile & Research
My research focus is about how emotions influence cognitive performance from the perspective of cognitive science. In particular, I am examining the relationship between positive mood, attentional functions (e.g., sustained attention) and related psychological phenomena, such as mind wandering. I've recently conducted research with “laughter yoga”.
In today’s world, where we are constantly exposed to information, while this can bring joy and pleasure, it can also lead to anxiety and stress. Given these ever-changing emotional states, how can we maintain our cognitive performance? I aim to approach this question from a psychological perspective.
