Profile & Research

Research Interests: Women’s Psychosomatic Health, Premenstrual Disorders (PMS/PMDD), Mindfulness-Based Interventions, Digital Health

My research focuses on psychological and physiological aspects of premenstrual syndrome (PMS) and premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), which are characterized by cyclical emotional, cognitive, and physical symptoms across the menstrual cycle.

I am particularly interested in how mindfulness-based interventions (MBIs) influence stress appraisal and help alleviate these cyclical symptoms. Beyond symptom reduction, I aim to better understand the psychological mechanisms underlying these changes, including how mindfulness shapes individuals’ responses to bodily sensations and stress.

Building on my master’s research in VR-based cognitive assessment and intervention, I am also interested in developing accessible digital health approaches, such as online mindfulness-based programs, to support women’s mental health.
