Profile & Research

I am currently enrolled in the Health and Sports Science program and belong to a seminar on Health Education, where I study human growth and development as well as health education. Through these studies, I have developed a strong interest in how listening to music influences our emotion regulation.

For my undergraduate thesis, I am investigating changes in trait empathy before and after listening to sad music among university students. In reviewing some articles , I have found that many studies on music listening and emotion regulation commonly conduct listening-based experiments, while often treating music as a single variable.

Based on this, I am interested in pursuing research in graduate school that compares emotion regulation using multiple versions of the same musical piece performed with different instruments.
